Casey Reese, Drug Overdose? 2v2s

News has begun to trickle into online poker forums, such as Never Win Poker… Unconfirmed reports of Casey Reese’s death are making their way from Vegas. Helmuth even made reference to the sad allegedly drug related death on Twitter.

In the poker world we knew Casey Reese best as the son of Poker Pro Chip Reese, however in his own life, he was better known as a ionate baseball player.

Casey Reese played baseball for his high school team at Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas. He was a pitcher, who according to news stories also played third base.
Reese was responsible for helping the Las Vegas Gaels win the 2006 state championship game. In fact, according CBS College Sports, Reese went 4-1 with a save in 13 appearances that season.

I talked to Mark from Big Edge Poker today about Casey and Chip Reese. Mark ed Gus talking about a story that involved Casey breaking his left wrist.
