Online Poker Rooms Give Full to Asian Poker Tour 4m2p1p

(Manila, Philippines) – With the success of its two events in 2008 and an expanded schedule on the horizon for 2009, the Asian Poker Tour (APT) is getting the full of some of the world’s biggest online poker rooms.

  

No less than the iPoker Network, PartyPoker, and Everest Poker – the third, fourth, and sixth largest online poker rooms in the world respectively – will be backing the Asian Poker Tour and sending over their best players to participate in its events next year. Top online poker rooms such as PKR, the Microgaming Network, Poker Trillion, World3DPoker, 888.com, the National Poker League (NPL), and JBET poker will be giving their and sending players to APT tournaments as well. Together, the poker rooms mentioned combine to reach a substantial percentage of poker players around the world.

  

The Asian Poker Tour recently announced its first event for next year – APT Philippines 2009. It will be held from January 27 to February 1, 2009 at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel in Makati City, Philippines with a buy-in of USD $2,700.

 

Asian Poker Tour CEO Chris Parker is optimistic about the growing strength of the Tour, especially with the large number of players expected to qualify through its online poker room partners.
