The company also offers players free bankrolls, rake races and VIP programs.  PokerStrategy does not promote US facing online poker rooms.  It does allow US players to participate in its forum and coaching services.

Playtech is best known for its iPoker Network.  It is closely related to Titan Poker, which many consider to be the flagship of the network.  It is expected that Titan Poker will be highly promoted on PokerStrategy.

Playtech also owns an online casino platform that it licenses to a number of respected brands.  Playtech will also solicited suggestions from players in the PokerStrategy forum to help improve the iPoker Network.

It has been reported that the sale price was €38 million.  PokerStrategy reportedly has net assets of €16.3 million and posted a profit of €19.5 million in 2012.

The announcement on the PokerStrategy site states that the business will not change much and the management team will stay with the company.  The same online poker rooms are expected to be offered and current promotions should stay in effect, assuming Playtech’s competitors wish to on their competitor’s website.

One well known poker room that will not be offered by PokerStrategy is Party Poker.  That is because the promotional agreement between Party Poker and PokerStrategy ceased in December 2012.
